Problems with Mondeo Mk4. I have a Ford mondeo 2.0 140 bhp, and i´m having some problems , the car as no cat , no dpf and egr is off and a soft remap. I am having a delay when i change gear, and when put foot back on accelerator. Also after 3000 rpm the car have very difficult to gain power and only when is coming down goes beyond 3500 rpm. 1. The fuel filler flap does not lock. 2. The filler mechanism does - if you leave the car a few minutes after fully locking it, open the flap and try and push the filler opening cover you'll find it is well and truly locked. A strange arrangement, I'll give you that - but at least it confirms all is well with your car. does not lock drivers side front and rear door using remote central locking.
